It gives me tremendous pleasure to be chairman of the judges for the Sussex Food & Drink Awards as they celebrate their fifth year. Having grown in stature since their inception, the awards dramatically mirror the fantastic innovative and quality skills of the county's brilliant band of producers and outlets. As well as gaining regional success, in recent years the awards have helped to take Sussex to the forefront of the local food and drink revolution that has been sweeping the UK. But, in order to build on this achievement, we want to top last year's record total of 9,000 nominations. And, to do that, we need your support.
